信阳科美新型材料有限公司成立于2009年5月，坐落于世界最大的非金属矿产品基地——信阳上天梯非金属矿管理区，主要从事工业保温材料和建筑保温陶瓷的生产、研发及销售。
公司总投资6亿元，占地780亩，一期投资2亿元，占地280亩，建设有设施先进的产品研发基地和轻质保温陶瓷生产线。并在周边拥有大型矿区，从而有效控制了采购成本，保证了原料质量，真正实现了从原料开采到产品销售的全程产业链。
公司组建专业研发团队，建立了产学研联合开发机制，形成了协同顾客超前市场的研发能力，累计科研投入已达上千万元。公司研发单位——河南省珍珠岩制品工程技术研究中心于2009年通过验收，成为国内唯一一家省级珍珠岩制品研究中心。
公司自主研发的建筑用轻质陶瓷保温板，历经5年技术公关，攻克了日本、德国等西方国家多年无法突破的技术难题。这一建筑外墙外保温的革命性成果极大地填补了国内外市场空白，经住建部科技发展促进中心鉴定已达到国际先进水平。产品一经推出，便得到中海、万科、金地、和记黄埔等多家国内知名建筑企业的认可。
